I’m Andri Pétur Hafþórsson. I have used Proxmox since 2017 and today help operate one of Iceland’s largest Proxmox environments, alongside Ceph storage. That experience informs advice where availability, performance and everyday maintenance matter.

Hardware selection, network design, quorum and high availability. Plan growth and maintenance around actual workloads and your team’s operating capacity.
Advice on disks, OSDs, pools, CRUSH rules, failure domains and capacity. Review performance and how the cluster handles failures and recovery.
Assess virtual machines and dependencies, run trial migrations and plan the rollout. Agree on validation, acceptable downtime and a rollback path before migration begins.
Investigate symptoms across virtual machines, networking and storage. Work from measurements and logs, assessing the impact of changes before making them.
Review Proxmox Backup Server, restore testing and upgrade procedures. Documentation and a walkthrough with your team keep the knowledge in your organization.
Describe your environment, goals and concerns. We agree on scope, timing and pricing before work begins.
Examine configuration and operational evidence. Receive findings and recommendations with priorities, assumptions and next steps.
Where changes are in scope, plan them with your team. Validation, documentation and a walkthrough are part of the handover.
Yes. An engagement can be a focused review of an existing Proxmox or Ceph environment, with recommendations your own team implements.
Yes. We start by assessing virtual machines, storage, networking and dependencies. Scope, trial migrations and rollback are agreed before implementation.
Ceph can maintain service through certain failures, but it does not replace independent backups. Backup strategy and tested restores are part of the review.
Pricing depends on scope and is agreed before work begins. Consulting and implementation take place at agreed times. Continuous monitoring and 24/7 on-call coverage are outside this service.
