Edition Five personal portfolio with an interactive Three.js basalt field, oversized kinetic typography, project ledgers, and Friday Mode
Personal portfolio at andri.is, completely redesigned as Edition Five. The visual system combines a near-black ground, phosphor-green accents, wide grotesk display type, monospaced technical chrome, and Icelandic basalt as the central metaphor.
The BUILT LIKE BASALT hero sits inside an interactive Three.js field of instanced hexagonal columns. The landscape breathes, reacts to dragging, sends ripples from clicked columns, and shifts into faster multi-color choreography in Friday Mode. Three.js is lazy-loaded into its own chunk, the field pauses off-screen, and reduced-motion users receive a static frame.
Below the hero, the single-page portfolio moves through a personal thesis, Kastro studio and Labs work, live products and honest post-mortems, eight technical capabilities, a client ledger, and direct contact. Friday Mode adds an original browser-synthesized 128 BPM soundtrack and beat-synchronized typography, ticker, color, and basalt motion. Built with Next.js 16, TypeScript, React Server Components, and Three.js.
